Two training sessions were recently conducted in Iași as part of the SustainX program, IMP³ROVE and Fundación Santa Cruz Sostenible shared their knowledge with “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași (TUIASI) and Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ). These sessions are a step forward in strengthening the capacity to support SMEs in their pursuit of sustainable and innovative business practices.
Driving innovation strategy: IMP³ROVE Training
On April 29-30, the SustainX TUIASI and DIZ program team participated in the “Introduction to innovation strategy development” training, facilitated by IMP³ROVE – European Innovation Management Academy. With 20 dedicated members in attendance, the training provided essential tools and frameworks to enhance their strategic approach to innovation.
This session focused on developing innovation competencies that enable the program partners to better guide SMEs in crafting forward-thinking, sustainable business strategies. By strengthening their capacity in innovation strategy, TUIASI and DIZ are now better equipped to lead SMEs through the complexities of the innovation process, fostering long-term impact and success.
Promoting sustainable business models: Fundación Santa Cruz Sostenible workshop
Complementing the innovation training, a Sustainability training workshop took place on April 30, delivered by Fundación Santa Cruz Sostenible. This session emphasized practical and actionable approaches for embedding sustainability into business operations. Participants engaged in interactive sessions that provided them with hands-on tools and methodologies to promote environmental responsibility and sustainable practices among SMEs.
The training aimed to empower the program partners with the knowledge and skills needed to assist SMEs in integrating sustainability into their core strategies, ensuring lasting impact and ecological mindfulness within the regional business ecosystem.
