In SustainX, a dedicated series of online workshops is being implemented for the companies selected to participate in the project’s support activities. This initiative aims to strengthen the capacities of participating SMEs by providing practical knowledge, guidance, and tools that can support their business growth, investment readiness, innovation potential, and long-term sustainability.
The workshop series is addressed exclusively to the selected SMEs from the participating countries of the project, namely Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, and the Canary Islands (Spain). Through interactive online sessions, participants will have the opportunity to explore key topics related to business development, investment planning, innovation management, market readiness, and sustainable growth.
The series covers a range of important thematic areas that are highly relevant to SMEs seeking to scale their activities and improve their positioning in competitive and evolving markets. The workshop topics include:
- Pitch Training and Investor Simulation
- Business and Investment Planning
- Intellectual Property (IP) and Data Management
- Understanding TRL and Technology Validation
- ESG and Sustainability Integration
- Market Validation and Feedback
The online sessions will take place during the period March to May 2026 and will be delivered by the SustainX project partners, who will share expertise, practical insights, and hands-on guidance tailored to the needs of the participating businesses.
This activity forms an important part of SustainX’s broader approach to supporting SMEs, with a strong focus on helping them better understand how to transform innovative ideas into viable business opportunities. At the same time, the workshops aim to enhance the participants’ ability to engage with investors, validate their technologies and market potential, integrate sustainability principles, and improve their overall strategic planning.
By offering this workshop series, SustainX seeks to provide the selected SMEs with a meaningful learning and development pathway, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to move towards more resilient, innovative, and investment-ready business models.
